MOOD MUSIC

MOOD MUSIC -  Is an open ended fun look at the life adventures we find ourselves on and the constant change of moods that zests our lives. What are the influencing factors that can shape our worlds? And are these factors outward, inward, both or nothing at all?

What is this quest? That is the question!

I am intrigued by people who message overly positive messages all the time.

There I was sat in a doctors waiting room, with about 30 others and I was reading a Tweet that was encouraging people to make the most of the 86,400 seconds of everyday, implying each second is in a ‘second bank’ with no overdrafts, deposits etc

Maybe they haven’t been in a doctors waiting room recently.

I wonder about people who leave overly perky quotes and on twitter, Facebook and through emails. It feels like they are setting out rules and guides that people should follow, and then what?
Be happy? Positive?
That each second will be perfect?
Even in a doctors waiting room?

What if each second isn't perfect?

If each second was perfect how could you measure this? How would you know that you are happy in this perfection if you have nothing to measure it against?

I understand that people are offering these messages to assit people through 'life'  -  but sometimes life is not that great and dealing with this and coping with difficult times can sometimes be what makes us grow as individuals and as a society.

Sometimes great art, literature and music has come out people rising against struggles than existing in a perfect world.

For Mood Music, Dax draws on and develops ideas originally created in 2012 from his experiences working as a health promotion specialist and project manager in areas of community development and community safety.

His experiences encompass working with individuals, community groups, public and voluntary sector organisations as a support worker and as a skilled trainer in areas of diversity, inclusion,  involvement and community safety.

This new adventure mixes together thoughts and thinking on areas of self development, rule makers and breakers, emotional well-being and the ultimate quest for fulfilment and happiness. Adding his love of music and humour, Mood Music aims to be a fun exploration of emotions and moods that carry us through our daily lives.

    Mood Music guiding principles:
Acknowledges rules, conventions and intentions to develop open-ended ways of working.
Developing ways of thinking that keep strength of character while being open to new ideas.
Recognises the freedom to be ‘boring’ to ‘exciting’ and the many places in-between.
